VectorIT Brand System

The complete identity system for VectorIT — logo, color, typography, voice, and usage rules. Internal document for anyone producing VectorIT materials.

01 — The Name

Why "VectorIT"

A vector is a quantity with direction and magnitude. It's the perfect metaphor for what the company sells: software effort that is pointed at a business goal and has real momentum behind it. "IT" grounds it in the industry while doubling as the English word "it" — Vector it. — a quiet imperative to give any problem direction.

Always written as one word, capital V and capital IT: VectorIT. The domain is vectorsolution.it — the Italian TLD completes the word "it" literally.

02 — The Mark

A "V" drawn as a literal vector

The mark is a vector path: it begins at an origin point, dives to a vertex, and exits with an arrowhead pointing up and to the right — the universal direction of growth. Corner ticks frame it like a coordinate plane. The mark should feel like it was lifted from an engineering drawing.

Primary mark — light backgrounds (default) · #2E5BDB

Dark-background variant — use #5B8CFF

DO

Keep clear space around the mark equal to the origin dot's diameter × 3. Use the supplied SVGs — never redraw.

DON'T

Rotate the mark, remove the arrowhead or origin dot, change the stroke weight, or place it on busy photography.

03 — Color

Blueprint palette

Paper#F7F9FC · page ground
Card#FFFFFF · surfaces
Vector Blue#2E5BDB · brand accent
Signal Orange#FF5A2D · CTAs only
Ink#0F1B33 · primary text
Graphite#55617D · secondary text

Ratio rule: ~80% paper/card, ~15% ink text, ~4% Vector Blue, ~1% Signal Orange. Orange is reserved exclusively for the single most important action on a screen — if two things are orange, neither is important. The blue drafting grid sits at 6% opacity: present, never loud.

04 — Typography

Two voices: engineered & annotated

Display — Archivo SemiExpanded Bold
Software with direction.
Body — Archivo Regular

Body text is set in Archivo at normal width, 17px, with relaxed 1.65 line height. It stays quiet so display and annotations can speak.

Annotation — IBM Plex Mono

FIG. 01 — SECTION LABELS, COORDINATES, METADATA

The mono annotation layer is the brand's signature detail — section labels, coordinates, version stamps. Use it for structure, never for paragraphs.

05 — Voice

Say the number. Name the date.

Not thisThis
"We leverage cutting-edge synergies to deliver best-in-class solutions.""We build custom software. Fixed scope, real numbers, working demo every Friday."
"Contact us to learn more!""Tell us where you're headed. Answer within one business day."
"World-class innovative digital transformation.""Your dispatch team stops re-typing loads into three systems."

VectorIT sounds like a senior engineer who respects your time: concrete, direct, lightly dry. Never salesy, never vague, never exclamation marks.
