Leadership — who you actually work with

No account managers. No handoffs.

Most software firms sell you a partner and deliver a junior. Here, the person who scopes your project is the person who architects it, writes the critical parts, and answers the phone when it matters.

Founder & Lead Engineer

Muhammad Shadab

Muhammad founded VectorIT to build the kind of software he needed when he was on the other side of the table. He spent eleven years at GenCom Compression Services as Manager of Finance, Accounts, IT and Technical Services — closing the books, running the systems and answering for the field operations of an oil & gas services business across Pakistan and Dubai.

That is an unusual combination, and it is the company's real advantage: he has sat in the accountant's chair at year-end and in the engineer's chair at 2am. He does not need a requirements document to understand why an invoice must carry a specific tax column, or why a system that fails during a shutdown costs more than the software.

He has personally led every engagement on this site: the GenCom Work Portal — a dual-entity ERP covering sales, field services, a full general ledger, HR and payroll for a Pakistani company and a Dubai FZCO — the hospital appointment platform for the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases, the US logistics platform for Prime Nexus Logistics in Austin, and the migration of a twenty-year-old VB6 accounting system onto the web without losing a single ledger entry.

He writes the architecture, reviews every line that reaches production, and is the person clients call directly. There is no layer between you and the engineer responsible for your system.

  • 11 years in finance, accounts, IT and technical services before founding VectorIT
  • Scopes and prices every project personally — the estimate comes from the person who builds it
  • Architecture, data modelling and the parts of the code that carry risk
  • Direct client line: WhatsApp, phone and email, in English or Urdu
  • Accountable through go-live and beyond — not until the invoice clears

How we staff — deliberately small

Senior-led by design, not by shortage

We stay small on purpose. A large firm gives you a partner in the pitch and a trainee in the sprint; we would rather take fewer projects and put experienced people on all of them.

One accountable engineer

Every project has a named engineer who owns it end to end. You always know whose name is on your system.

Specialists brought in, not billed by default

Design, mobile and DevOps specialists join when the work needs them, and their scope is priced in writing before they start.

Documented for the team after us

Architecture notes, tests and handover docs are part of delivery — so your system never depends on any one person, including us.

Talk directly — no gatekeeping

Speak with the engineer, not a salesperson

Bring the actual problem to the first call. You'll get a straight technical opinion — including "you don't need us for this" when that's the honest answer.
