Our Work — systems in production

Real systems, running in real businesses

Hospitals, industrial services firms, logistics companies. From Karachi to Austin. Every project below is in production — and every client can be asked about us directly.

Flagship — Dual-entity ERP — Karachi · Dubai

A complete ERP for a two-country oil & gas business — built from scratch

GenCom Compression Services runs gas-compression packages for OGDC, PPL, Engro, Fauji Fertilizer and Mari Energies, operating as an ISO 9001:2015 company in Karachi and as an FZCO in Dubai. Both entities ran on Excel workbooks.

We built the GenCom Work Portal: an ERP covering the entire business in six workspaces — Sales & Distribution, Field Services, Finance & Accounts, HR & Payroll, an AI Workbench, and Settings — with strict separation between the Pakistani and Dubai entities, each on its own chart of accounts, tax regime and fiscal calendar.

It is not a set of forms over a database. The full export document chain runs inside it (Quotation → Proforma → Commercial Invoice → Packing List → Delivery Note), driven by six Incoterm-aware workflows of 14–21 stages each; a real double-entry general ledger sits underneath with eleven voucher types, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet; and multi-authority tax handling covers SRB, PRA, KPRA, federal GST and zero-rated foreign remittance — printing the formal nine-column tax invoice Pakistani law requires so buyers can claim input tax.

Inside the build — what it actually took

The parts that make it a real system, not a demo

Accounting software is easy to fake and hard to finish. These are the pieces that decide whether a business can actually close its books on it:

  • Two fiscal calendars — Pakistan's July–June year and the Dubai entity's calendar year, with document numbering that rolls on the tax year automatically
  • Money in local terms — amounts written in lakh and crore for PKR documents, international notation for USD
  • Field Cashier mobile app — outdoor staff photograph a receipt on site; it is read automatically, then an accountant approves it and the expense posts to the ledger against that person's cash float
  • Long-term contract billing — signed rate annexures stored per contract, so a release order is invoiced by picking agreed rates instead of retyping prices
  • Shipment tracking — one click to the live tracking page across eighteen airlines, couriers and shipping lines
  • Auditor-ready printing — every statement prints to A4 with the correct letterhead for whichever entity issued it

A full year of historical accounting was migrated out of spreadsheets and reconciled until the trial balance agreed to the rupee.

What the system actually looks like

Screens from the GenCom Work Portal, populated with sample figures. Real client data is never shown.

Project Tracker screen showing an export order moving through Incoterm-aware workflow stages
Sales & Distribution — Project Tracker

Every quotation and customer PO tracked from enquiry to delivery. The stage rail adapts to the Incoterm: a CPT export runs a different sequence to a domestic GST order, and each project shows exactly where it stands.

Trial balance screen grouped by account class, showing balanced totals
Finance & Accounts — Trial Balance

A real double-entry ledger: accounts grouped by class, running debit and credit totals, and a balance check that has to agree before the books close. Every statement exports to Excel or prints to A4.

Sales tax invoice printed in the format required by the Sindh Revenue Board
Sales tax invoice — SRB format

The nine-column layout Pakistani law requires: value excluding tax, rate, tax amount and value including tax shown separately so the buyer can claim input tax. Amounts print in lakh and crore.

Figures, customer names and registration numbers above are sample data created for this page.

"For years our Karachi and Dubai operations ran on Excel files — every month-end was a search through workbooks. Now quotations, shipments, accounts and payroll live in one portal, and for the first time the books of both companies agree to the rupee. Our field engineers submit expenses from a photograph. Honestly, I did not believe we could run without Excel. I was wrong."

Healthcare — Cardiac Hospital — Karachi

A cardiac hospital's front door, rebuilt for the patient's phone

For the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD) — a public cardiac teaching hospital — we built the complete digital patient experience: a modern bilingual hospital website with find-a-physician search, department pages and OPD schedules, plus an online appointment booking system — patients book from their phone, reception sees every booking on one screen, and confirmations go out on WhatsApp.

Also delivered: an Android appointments app, so booking works for patients who live on their phone, not their browser.

Logistics — USA — Austin, TX

A logistics company's digital front door, built to convert

Prime Nexus Logistics — an Austin-based logistics company — needed a web presence that turns shippers into quote requests, plus dispatch-ready contact flows that work from the road.

We delivered the brand site, quote pipeline, and operations tooling — proof that the same team serving Karachi's markets ships US-grade work. See it live yourself:

Manufacturing — Accounting System — client name withheld

20 years of VB6 + Access accounting, rebuilt for the web — data intact

A Pakistani manufacturing SME ran its entire accounts — GST, excise, ledgers, invoicing — on a Visual Basic 6 desktop program with an Access database that only worked on one aging PC. We reverse-engineered the legacy system, migrated two decades of data, and rebuilt it as a modern web application their team uses from any browser.

What the new system does: full double-entry books (trial balance, P&L, balance sheet on Pakistan's July–June financial year), per-line GST and excise duty calculation, gap-free sales tax invoice numbering, four staff roles enforced on the server — and A4 print-perfect statements their accountant signs off on.
